On April 1, 2025, Master Group announced the official opening of its Haiphong Branch in Vietnam. As the Group’s second-largest strategic hub in Southeast Asia, the new branch will focus on U.S.-bound freight forwarding services, offering end-to-end logistics solutions from Vietnam to the United States and further consolidating Master’s service network across the Asia-Pacific region.

Vietnam’s Haiphong Port is a key deep-water port in Southeast Asia, handling over 80 million metric tons of annual throughput. Master Group chose to establish its branch here to leverage Haiphong’s strategic location and optimize cargo transportation efficiency for Vietnam and neighboring countries. The opening ceremony was attended by Steve Guey, Manager of Master’s Ho Chi Minh Branch, along with representatives from shipping lines and agents, marking this significant milestone.

During the inauguration, Jim, Manager of the Haiphong Branch, highlighted Vietnam’s economic growth driven by recent industrial zone development and tax incentives, attracting businesses to capitalize on demographic and land cost advantages in northern Vietnam. As the largest container port in northern Vietnam, Haiphong serves as a geographical hub with a transportation network covering surrounding industrial zones within 3–4 hours. Combined with local resources in shipping, freight forwarding, and warehousing, it positions itself as a strategic base for expanding regional services. With the ongoing expansion of northern Vietnam’s industrial zones, the new branch will enhance service responsiveness, strengthen resource integration, and provide clients with more competitive supply chain solutions.

As a global manufacturing hub, Vietnam’s exports exceeded $400 billion in 2024, with 18% destined for the United States. By adding the Haiphong Branch, Master Group aims to further meet clients’ U.S.-bound logistics demands and support Vietnamese enterprises in expanding their presence in the North American market.
